Skin Patch Test
Evaluates a product’s potential for primary irritation and contact allergic reactions
The test substance is applied to the skin on the participants’ backs using an occlusive patch system. Results are read and evaluated by dermatology professionals in accordance with standardized protocols. During the 24- to 72-hour observation period, participants with various skin profiles, including sensitive skin and atopic dermatitis-prone skin, are monitored to confirm that no signs of discomfort, such as erythema, swelling, irritation, or allergic reactions, are observed.
Safe-in-Use Test
Verifies skin tolerance and safety under long-term continuous use
The Safe In Use Test is designed to simulate real-life daily use. Participants are instructed to apply the product to a designated area continuously for at least 4 weeks, or 30 days, and return for regular follow-up evaluations under the supervision of dermatology professionals. A total of 20 participants are closely monitored throughout the study. Both subjective feedback and objective skin reactions, such as dryness, itching, redness, stinging, and flaking, are recorded. The highest 5-Star rating is awarded only when no adverse reactions are observed throughout the entire testing period.

To better reflect real-life use, the face was selected as the test area for the Safe In Use Test. The formula was further evaluated on individuals with atopic dermatitis and infants aged 0–12 months.
